Sugar Ray Re-Teams With Familiar Faces, Sound For New Record

Looking to follow-up on the success of last year's break-through album, "Floored," Sugar Ray has opted to re-team with the same producer, David Kahne.

Ray also looks to continue indulging in the same sort of pop-meets hip-hop-marriage that spawned its Top 10 hit single, "Fly," and has tapped Craig "DJ Homicide" Bullock to mix up beats for the record.

The band has also recently recorded a cover version of the Steve Miller Band's early '80s hit, "Abracadabra," for possible inclusion on a soundtrack for a TV show.

No word yet on when Sugar Ray plans to release its new album, but we'll keep you posted.
