Scott Weiland missed a scheduled court date in Los Angeles last week as he continues his detoxification efforts at a California facility.
No warrant was issued for Weiland, who was due in court last Thursday on a felony charge of heroin possession (which brings a possible two-year jail sentence) and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a hypodermic needle in connection with an arrest last winter.
A new court date in the case has been set for June 25, a date that the presiding judge says Weiland must make or the singer will face a bench warrant.
Of course, Weiland made headlines two weeks ago when he was arrested in New York City on a misdemeanor charge of heroin possession. That charge brings the possibility of one year in jail.
