Scott Weiland To Face Drugs Charges In New York Court

Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland will be in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday facing charges of heroin possession and trespassing.

The singer, who was arrested on June 1 during his solo tour, just completed 90 days of court-ordered rehabilitation for his addiction.

As we reported earlier this year (see "Scott Weiland Arrested In Heroin Bust"), the singer was picked up on Manhattan's Lower East Side by New York police who claim Weiland was holding 10 decks (or $10 packets) of heroin at the time.

We'll keep you posted as the story unfolds.
