Mel G. And Mini-Me Team Up For "Word Up"

Actor Verne Troyer, one of the new faces found in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," is now more than just a breakout star on the silver screen. The actor, who plays Dr. Evil's sidekick Mini-Me, has been making the video rounds as well.

Troyer makes an appearance in "Scary Spice" Melanie G.'s video for her cover of "Word Up" off the movie's soundtrack. While at the video shoot on Monday in Universal City, California, he and Ms. G. discussed the other Austin Powers-related videos (Madonna's "Beautiful Stranger" and Lenny Kravitz' "American Woman," featuring Heather Graham) and Troyer's fascination with one certain Felicity Shagwell.

"I have seen the Madonna [video]," began Melanie G., "and what's the other one? The Lenny Kravitz one, with that hot chick in it. Yeah. Cool, man. I like it a lot."

"She's very groovy," Troyer said... though the word sounded suspiciously like

"gravy."

"Oh, you just want to pour her all over your dinner and eat her?" G. suggested.

"No, she's with somebody," Troyer lamented. "So I guess not." [RealVideo]

The movie's soundtrack climbs to number eight on Monday's "Billboard" Album Chart, while the "Word Up" video should hit small screens sometime this summer.
