Britney Spears Phones “TRL” To Announce U.S. Tour Dates

Currently resting and relaxing at her home in Louisiana, Britney Spears took time out from her time off in order to phone in to “TRL” and help world premiere her new video, “From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart.”

Spears, who told host Carson Daly and the “TRL” audience that she just had her wisdom teeth removed, also called in to officially announce the first set of dates for her upcoming U.S. tour, slated to begin on March 8 in Pensacola, Florida.

The teen singer said that the upcoming shows, which will feature LFO as the opening act, were just a prelude to a full-scale world tour, tentatively planned to launch in the summer of 2000. The initial dates for Britney Spears’ U.S. tour:

  • 3/9 – Birmingham, AL @ BJCC
  • 3/10 – Little Rock, AR @ Alltel Arena
  • 3/12 – Memphis, TN @ Pyramid
  • 3/13 – Louisville, KY @ Freedom Hall
  • 3/14 – Auburn Hills, MI @ The Palace
  • 3/15 – Cincinnati, OH @ The Crown
  • 3/19 – Grand Rapids,
    MI @ Van Andel Arena
  • 3/20 – Moline, IL @ Mark Of The Quad Cities
  • 3/21 – Madison, WI @ Kohl Center
