Britney Spears Bubble Gum To Benefit Charity

Britney Spears fans can already bop along to her music, and soon they'll be able to pop along to the teen singer's own brand of bubble gum, expected to hit store shelves in March.

The teenage singer has inked a three-year licensing agreement with Famous Fixins, who will manufacture the "Britney Spears CD Bubble Gum," a novelty item being issued in conjunction with the launch of the teen singer's upcoming tour.

A portion of the proceeds from Spears' bubble gum will be donated to The Giving Back Fund, the organization through which she established the Britney Spears Foundation in November (see "Britney Spears To Give Back With Performing Arts Camp").

Famous Fixins has previously teamed-up with such athletes as the Chicago Cubs' Sammy Sosa, New York Yankees' Derek Jeter, and San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan to offer promotional products to help benefit the personalities' respective charities of choice.

Spears

will kick off her North American tour on March 8 in Pensacola, Florida, and plans to release her sophomore album on May 16.
