August 4 [7:55 EDT] -- Reel Big Fish knew that joining this summer's Warped tour would be an adventure, but they probably didn't count on this.
The band's trombonist, Dan Regan, was walking with a fan in Danbury, Connecticut during an off-day for the tour, when the fan tripped and fell 20 feet into an aqueduct.
With the fan unable to move, Regan ran to the band's tour bus, grabbed a cell phone, and tossed it to a bystander asking them to call 911 for help.
Regan then jumped down into the aqueduct to calm the fan while waiting for help to arrive. Emergency units finally did arrive and whisked the fan off to the hospital.
Regan then joined his Reel Big Fish counterparts for a headlining show that night, before hopping back on the Warped tour the next day.
The band will wrap up its Warped Tour stint this week in Atlanta, and, after a brief rest, will then launch its own headlining tour.
