Redd Kross Guitarist Found Dead

Edward "Eddie" Kurdziel, guitarist for the kitschy, Technicolor glam-rock outfit Redd Kross, was found dead of an apparent overdose on Sunday at his home in Los Angeles.

Kurdziel was not an original member of the band, which was formed in 1978 by brothers Steve and Jeff McDonald (at the ages of 11 and 18, respectively). He joined the lineup in 1993 and debuted on the band's breakthrough album, "Phaseshifter."

Kurdziel was 38.
