In tour news, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are just back from making what was presumably a memorable appearance in Japan at the Mt. Fuji festival after a typhoon blew ashore right in the middle of the Chili Peppers' set.
MTV: It was a concert nightmare for real at Japan's Mount Fuji last weekend, when what was supposed to be the biggest concert in Japanese entertainment history, a two-day show in the shadow of the celebrated mountain, was upstaged by a ferocious typhoon called Rosie. Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Atari Teenage Riot soldiered through the first day's concert, but when the weather forecast remained bleak, Sunday's show was canceled.
Next up for the Chili Peppers: a return to the recording studio.
