Psycho Realm's Gustavo In Intensive Care After Shooting

Psycho Realm rapper Gustavo "Duke" Gonzalez is in the intensive care unit at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, recuperating from a gunshot wound to the neck. Gonzalez, 28, was shot on Friday morning at Tommy's Burger Stand in Los Angeles and is suffering from a spinal cord injury.

The incident occurred at about 1 a.m. when alleged shooter Robert Gorcsi, who claims to be affiliated with a local "tagging" crew, was asked to leave the restaurant by security. Gorcsi and a friend were bounced from the premises after they started punching another male customer who supposedly winked or smiled at one of the females in Gorcsi's group.

According to the police, Gonzalez, who was not connected with the male customer in question, approached Gorcsi outside to intervene in the dispute when the two began to argue themselves. Gorcsi then went to his vehicle to get a handgun, fired one or two times, then fled from the scene with the group.

Los Angeles police officers gave chase, and eventually

took five people -- two males and three females -- into custody. Although the weapon has not been located, Gorcsi was booked for attempted murder and remains in jail in lieu of bail, which was set at $1.6 million.

Psycho Realm, which consists of Gonzalez, his brother Jacken, and B-Real from Cypress Hill, was expected to release its second album next month.
