Iggy Pop Gets Animated

Feb. 10 [14:00 EST] -- When you think children's television, you think Iggy Pop, and so it's no surprise that Mr. Pop will turn up on a new animated show from Steven Spielberg.

Pop (the punk pioneer who once cut himself with broken glass on-stage before Marilyn Manson was a glimmer in his father's eye) will reportedly lend his talents to Spielberg's new series, "Home to Rent," which will surface on Fox this fall.

All kidding aside, this is not Pop's first foray into children's television; he played Nona Mecklenberg's father on the Nickelodeon series "The Adventures of Pete and Pete."

"Home to Rent" will reportedly oust the Tone-Loc animated vehicle "C-Bear and Jamal" in the Fox line up.
