Sting Lines Up North American Tour

Sting (the Astanga-loving musician, not the wrestler) has extended his world tour and will hit the road throughout North America this summer.

Sting’s 38-date North American concert trek kicks off June 24 in Camden, New Jersey and is expected to wrap up September 8 in Virginia Beach. Opening acts for selected North American dates will include teen blues prodigy Jonny Lang and singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman.

Sting and his touring band (which includes guitarist Dominic Miller, drummer Manu Katche, keyboardist Jason Rebello, and trumpet player Chris Botti) have been on the road since last fall, tirelessly supporting Sting’s platinum-selling, Grammy Award-winning album “Brand New Day.”

Sting will perform at the New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival on April 30 before launching the next leg of his ongoing European tour on May 6 in Montesarchio, Italy. Here’s how the North American leg of Sting’s tour looks:
