Pink Floyd Offers Preview Of Live “Wall” LP

Pink Floyd will offer fans a free preview of its upcoming concert album, “Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live,” this week by making one of the tracks, “Young Lust,” available as a streaming audio track.

The “Young Lust” audio file will be available for 24 hours beginning at midnight, March 15 at a special “Is There Anybody Out There?” Web site at www.thewalllive.com. “Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live” commemorates the 20th anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd’s epic album and ensuing tour and documents a pair of the group’s shows at Earl’s Court in London from 1980 and 1981 (see “Pink Floyd To Release ‘The Wall’ Live” ).

In addition to live versions of the 26 tracks off the 1979 album, including
“Comfortably Numb,” “Hey You,” and “Another Brick In The Wall, Pt. 2,” “Is There Anybody Out There?” also features two other tracks from the song cycle that have never been released on an album before.

The first song, “What Shall We Do Now,” was included in the 1982 cult classic film “Pink Floyd The Wall” — a movie that was to have incorporated footage shot at the Earl’s Court shows featured on the upcoming live album. The other new song, “The Last Few Bricks,” has never been previously released in any form.
