Slipknot Singer Records With Onyx's Sticky Fingaz

With the Ozzfest tour and numerous head injuries behind them, the men of Slipknot are setting their sights on other endeavors.

After wrapping up Ozzfest last month, Slipknot singer Cory (otherwise known as #8) made a beeline for a Malibu recording studio where he joined Sticky Fingaz of Onyx to record a track called "End of the World."

The pair joined producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Soulfly) in his Indigo Ranch recording studio to lay down the track, which is expected to turn up on the upcoming solo effort from Sticky Fingaz. Robinson is producing the Slipknot collaboration as well as one other still-untitled track for Sticky's solo album.

Meanwhile, Cory will soon rejoin his Slipknot bandmates for a tour with Coal Chamber and Machine Head that kicks off on August 19. Here's where to catch them:
