The Offspring's New Album, Tour, And Video

Feb. 19 [12:00 EST] -- With a new album in record store racks, the Offspring will launch a month of U.S. dates on Wednesday at the Paradise in Boston before kicking off a European tour in Helsinki on March 22.

The band is just back from co-headlining the "Big Day Out" tour of Australia with Soundgarden., and the group has also just shot a video for the track "Gone Away," which will be the second clip from its new album, "Ixnay On The Hombre."

The album is the band's first major-label release, following up the Offspring's huge 1994 debut "Smash."

The Offspring's new website (offspring.com) features a full Offspring tour itinerary, video clips of the band, and sound files. The site, titled "The Offspring Guide to Web Anarchy" offers the standard band website fair, but also provides a link to the backyard revolution manual Anarchist Cookbook...if you know which link to hit.
