April 7 [11:45 EST] -- The AP reports that Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and his fiancee, actress Patsy Kensit, have finally pulled off the secret wedding ceremony they first attempted in February.
A spokesperson for Creation Records, Oasis' British label, told the AP that Gallagher married Kensit in a small civil ceremony in London's Westminster Register office today.
The Gallaghers reportedly filed for a special license on Friday, and with the help of the superintendent registrar, kept the plans a secret through the weekend.
The couple then wed today in a ceremony attended by no one other than the bride, the groom, and the registrar, according to the report. The Creation spokesperson told the AP that neither the bride nor the groom's parents attended the secret ceremony, and no other band members were present for the nuptials.
The couple tried the stealth approach to wedded bliss once before, but jettisoned plans to wed on February 10 citing an "obsessive
and intrusive" media spotlight.
The marriage is the first for the 24-year-old Gallagher and the third for the 29-year-old Kensit.
The couple is reportedly too busy for a honeymoon.
We'll have more on the wedding, and Oasis' next album, later in the day.
