No Doubt Mulls Title As New Album Hits Home Stretch

No Doubt may get cosmic with the title of its eagerly anticipated new record as "Saturn Returns" is one of the leading contenders in the album name sweepstakes.

The phrase refers to the 28-year cycle of the planet's orbit and lead singer Gwen Stefani's age when some of the new songs were written.

The band hopes to finish mixing the new album this Thursday, and so far some songs that have made the cut are "Simple Kind Of Life" and "Bath Water.

Other recently recorded tracks include "X Girlfriend" and "Magic's In The Makeup," though only time will tell if those songs make it onto the new record.

There is still no definitive release date for the new album; the group hopes the album hits stores in April of next year.
