Ever wonder where two famous rappers would host a mock wedding ceremony? If you're Naughty By Nature's Treach and Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa, you'd apparently hold the faux nuptials in a tattoo parlor -- which is exactly what the pair did last Friday in Lawrence, Kansas. Treach and Pepa's pseudo-wedding invitations asked guests to show up at the parlor, where they would witness the pair getting their ring fingers tattooed with a barbed-wire design and each other's name as a symbolic gesture. Treach and Pepa gifted guests with T-shirts reading: "I survived the hip-hop wedding of Treach and Pepa in Kansas, April 2, Nineteen Naughty-Nine." The unofficial newlyweds have a seven-month-old daughter, Egypt. Following the mock-service, Pepa took to the stage at Lawrence's Granada Theater for Salt-N-Pepa's scheduled concert. Treach made a surprise appearance at the show and performed "Dirt All By My Lonely," a track from Naughty By Nature's upcoming album, after which the
couple announced its unofficial nuptials from the stage.Salt-N-Pepa are currently in the midst of a North American tour and are scheduled to play the Lodo Music Hall in Denver on Monday night. No word on if Treach and Pepa plan to formalize their union after the tour winds down, but we'll keep you posted.
