Naughty By Nature Celebrates "Jamboree," Treach And Pepa To Officially Wed

Naughty By Nature is currently overseas performing some festival dates in Germany, France, and the Netherlands, but the rap outfit's new single, "Jamboree," is all over the airwaves here in the U.S.

The new cut comes quick on the heels of Naughty's last single, "Live or Die," a rugged collaboration with No Limit soldiers Mystikal and Silkk the Shocker. The new track is built around more of a celebratory, yet soulful vibe, and features R&B duo Zhane.

According to the Naughty By Nature's Treach, the two singles demonstrate the wide variety of sounds in the rappers' repertoire. "It's like, life is not one tone," Treach told the MTV Radio Network. "You go through many emotions, stages, feelings."

"You ain't always mad," he continued, "you ain't always happy, you ain't always sad, you ain't always ridin'. So all that comes in life and with our albums, we want everybody to have something that they

could take away from it no matter what mood they in." [RealAudio]

Naughty By Nature returns to the United States on July 19, at which time Treach will prepare to officially wed his longtime partner, Pepa (of Salt-N-Pepa), on July 24.

In April, the longtime couple and parents of a 10-month-old girl, Egypt, held a faux wedding at a tattoo parlor in Lawrence, Kansas (see "Naughty By Nature's Treach Weds Salt-N-Pepa's Pepa At Mock Hip-Hop Wedding").

In other band-related news, Naughty's Kay Gee is also in the process of producing new albums from Zhane, as well as Next's sophomore project, due out later this year.
