'NSYNC's Lance Puckers Up For "7th Heaven"

Fans of 'NSYNC's Lance Bass are in for a small-screen surprise on January 31 when the singer makes a special guest appearance on the WB series "7th Heaven."

Bass revealed in an online chat with AOL's Entertainment Asylum that the episode will feature a kiss with co-star Beverley Mitchell, who plays Lucy Camden on the family-oriented show.

The singer assured his online audience that it was only an "acting kiss" and that he felt awkward with "50 people staring" as the two smooched. He also stated that there is nothing romantic going on between himself and Mitchell and hoped that his fans would be able to separate fact from TV fiction.

'NSYNC fans will also be happy to note that Justin Timberlake (who will celebrate his birthday on the same day the Bass-enhanced "7th Heaven" episode airs) remarked at one point during the chat that the boys were lonely and needed valentines.

In the meantime, all of 'NSYNC will appear on MTV's "Total Request Live" this Wednesday, January

26, to help promote the video for the group's new single, "Bye, Bye, Bye." The clip will debut on MTV's "Making The Video" on Monday, January 24.

The episode of "7th Heaven" guest-starring Bass will air at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on January 31, while the group's next album, "No Strings Attached," is due to arrive on March 21.
