Mya Talks About Her Video Music Award Chances

As the night of the MTV Video Music Awards quickly approaches, singer Mya already has visions of silver-plated moonmen dancing in her head.

"Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)," her collaborative track with Pras and Ol' Dirty Bastard, is one of the summer's most recognizable hits, but despite its success and the fact that it's up for two VMAs, Mya is still looking for a higher power to help her take home an award.

"Well all of the pressure is not on me," Mya told MTV News of her thoughts going into the VMAs. "It's with Pras, ODB, and myself. I don't know what the chances are. I don't know who we're up against either. So, it's probably pretty tight competition because videos these days are so animated and so expensive and have so many graphics in 'em. So... I'm praying."[1.5MB QuickTime]

The video for "Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)" is up for two MTV Video Music
