September 2 [16:00 EDT] -- Never ones to keep things simple, Mötley Crüe will hit ten cities in three days to announce plans for their upcoming "Generation Swine" tour.
Traveling by what has been dubbed "Air Crüe," the band will begin on September 10 in Minneapolis, and move on to meet the press in Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto that same day. From there, the band will touch down in Cleveland, New York, and Boston on September 11, and Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and San Francisco on September 12.
The band, who never met a ball of flame they didn't like, is expected to unveil details about how this will be one-louder than past excursions.
The upcoming tour will be the band's first arena tour in five years with original vocalist Vince Neil. The recently-reformed band played a few select club dates with Neil earlier this year to trumpet the release of "Generation Swine."
While the band played primarily new material peppered with Crüe classics
during its recent club outings, the band will be reaching deep into its metal treasure chest to pull out songs spanning its 16-year history.
