Around the same time Lee was busy on the Mötley Crüe website (at www.motleycrue.com/sin/diaries/tommychapter3.htm), where he posted a message telling the judicial system to "suck my ass," a sentiment he did not utter before the judge who ordered the drummer to take 12 hours of "anger counseling," pay $17,500 to the photographer and remain on probation for two years.
The Mötley rocker was also ordered to play roughly $5,000 in fines and donations. According to Reuters, he's been given the choice of 250 hours of community service or a fine of $1,800.
Lee wasn't mandated to appear during the misdemeanor proceedings but was nonetheless on hand. His wife Pamela Anderson Lee was not. "I refuse to drag my family through this 'Viper Room' sh**!" wrote Lee in his journal, adding, "I just don't understand how they can continue to support these parasite photographers who invade our privacy!!"
The altercation occurred when Lee and his then-pregnant wife left
the Viper Room and were confronted by freelance photographer Henry Trappler. Lee grabbed the camera and swung him to the ground.
