Tommy Lee To Seek A Plea Bargain For Phoenix Assault

Tommy Lee has apparently struck a tentative deal with prosecutors in Phoenix to plead guilty to an assault charge and receive an $800 fine and a 30-day sentence to run concurrently with his time served in California, according to a report from Reuters.

The Phoenix charges stem from an altercation with a concert security guard during a Mötley Crüe concert last December. Bassist Nikki Sixx was also charged, but is not part of these proceedings.

Lee is currently serving a six-month sentence for spousal abuse stemming from an assault on his now-estranged wife, Pamela Anderson Lee. The plea bargain will mean that there will be no additional time added to his sentence. He's expected to serve just four months with an early release for good behavior. If that's the case, he'll be free in just under four weeks.

Lee's lawyer told Reuters that Lee "just wants to get on with his life." According to a post on AOL by Nikki Sixx, the drummer is not having an

easy time of it in jail.
