Mark Morrison Sentenced To One Year In Prison

It's already been a bad week for British singer Mark Morrison, and it looks to worsen in the days ahead.

In London on Tuesday, Morrison, who had a Top 10 hit last year with "Return of the Mack," was sentenced to a year in prison for sending an impersonator to perform his community service for an assault conviction.

As we previously reported (see "Mark Morrison Back In Custody After Jumping Bail"), Morrison was arrested last week upon his return to England after fleeing to Barbados for two months while on the lamb from authorities.

Morrison isn't out of the legal woodwork yet and faces another round of sentencing on Thursday for charges related to his arrest for carrying a concealed weapon last August (see "Mark Morrison Returns To Trouble").
