New Alanis Morissette Record Drops In November

Warner Bros. Records has just set a November 3 release date for Alanis Morissette's new album, the highly-anticipated follow-up to 1995's "Jagged Little Pill."

Morissette is presently recording the album in Los Angeles with veteran producer Glenn Ballard, who also helmed "Pill," and has also just completed filming her part in Kevin Smith's upcoming spiritual comedy flick, "Dogma," which is due out later this year (see "Kevin Smith Confirms Alanis Is In 'Dogma'").

The Canadian singer last released new material with "Uninvited," her contribution to the "City of Angels" soundtrack, and the inclusion of the Alanis song has helped bolster and sustain that album's sales. The "City of Angels" soundtrack is currently the top-selling album in the country, according to SoundScan.
