Mandy Moore pays a visit to a rehearsal studio and serenades a male dancer in her new video, “I Wanna Be With You,” a song that will be featured in the upcoming film, “Center Stage,” as well as a “new” Mandy Moore album, due out in May.In the clip, directed by Nigel Dick, Moore showers her musical affections on Sasha Radetsky, the male lead in “Center Stage,” a movie that follows a tight-knit group of young dance students as they try to make it in the world as professional dancers. The “I Wanna Be With You” single will be released to radio on April 4, while Mandy Moore will swing by MTV’s Times Square studios to premiere the video during “TRL” on April 12. In addition to the “Center Stage” soundtrack, which includes songs from the Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jamiroquai, “I Wanna Be With You” will also be the title track to Moore’s new LP, which incorporates five tracks from Moore’s debut album, “So Real,” as well as five new tracks. is still deciding which five new tracks will be featured on the album, although a representative for Sony/550 indicated that the “I Wanna Be With You” record will contain a remixed version of “Candy,” the P.M. Dawn-produced “Your Face,” and two other new songs. The five “So Real” tracks being re-released on “I Wanna Be With You” are: “Walk Me Home,” “Lock Me In Your Heart,” “I Like It,” “Love You For Always,” and “So Real.” Mandy Moore’s “I Wanna Be With You” album is due out on May 9, and the “Center Stage” film arrives on screens on May 12.
