Monster Magnet fans who are rapidly wearing out their copies of "Powertrip" and have already explored the group's back catalog will want to swing by monstermagnet.net where they can pick up a new EP from the metal-powered outfit.

The group, whose "Space Lord" single earned the band a spot as part of this year's hard rock resurgence (see "NEWSMAKER '98 NUMBER 4: Family Values And The Rise Of Metal"), is making an enhanced EP titled "Let It Ride" available on www.monstermagnet.net. The new collection features the track "Big God," which was previously unreleased in the U.S. The enhanced disc also features interview footage, a screen saver, the "Space Lord" video and other Monster Magnet goodies.

Fans can order the EP directly through monstermagnet.net for $5.

While visiting the site, fans may also want to take a stab at "Deathride," a game

in which users can compete for autographed copies of the EP, a Gibson guitar, and of course bragging rights.

If you'd prefer a more visceral Monster Magnet experience, the group's record label, A&M Records, promises that the band will be returning to the road early next year.
