Metallica Heads To Playboy Mansion To Help Out "Orgazmo"

Metallica helped promote the upcoming Trey Parker movie "Orgazmo" by playing an eight song set at party thrown at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Though they are not a part of the film or its soundtrack, they are fans of the creator and star and were happy to perform in front of an audience which included Parker's "South Park" partner Matt Stone, rocker Tommy Lee, singer Dwight Yoakam, actors Robert Duvall, Jon Lovitz, Gabriel Byrne, and "Playboy" godfather Hugh Hefner.

Included in their set was a cover of the Misfits' "Die Die My Darling," a cover of Bob Seger's "Turn The Page" and several of their classic hits. The two covers performed were the only songs off of their upcoming double disc compilation album "Garage Inc.," which is due out on November 24. The album features material from the two previous "Garage Days" cover albums, plus 11 new tracks. They will also have a DVD out on December 8 with footage from their 1997 Load/Re-Load world tour.

As for the

film "Orgazmo," it will be hitting theaters nationwide on Friday.
