Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Others To Mark KNAC's Return

Legendary L.A. heavy metal radio station KNAC, which has found a home on the Internet after losing its place on the airwaves, will begin broadcasting live this weekend, with the help a who's who of the metal world.

The station's first week of live broadcasts, which begins Sunday at 11 a.m. Eastern time (at, will feature live interviews with Megadeth, Pantera, White Zombie, Type O Negative, Slash, Anthrax, Flotsam and Jetsam, Dokken, and Dio. Metallica is also expected to either call in or stop by the station's studio next week as well.

The station will lead up to its live launch by rebroadcasting the final 8 hours of programming that KNAC aired before it was bumped from the air in 1995. When the station gets its live streaming audio up and running, fans are encouraged to call in requests to 1-888-303-KNAC.
