Matchbox 20's Gaynor Offers Reward For Stolen Guitar

Matchbox 20 guitarist Adam Gaynor is "horrified" that his beloved green Taylor acoustic guitar was stolen at the band's Monday night show in Gainesville, Florida.

"Every time I touch that guitar, it feels like magic," he told MTV News. "I have over 30 guitars, but the one that had to be stolen was the guitar I'm in love with."

This is not the first time that Gaynor has lost a guitar with huge sentimental value to theft. A few years ago, the guitar he played when recording Matchbox 20's first album, "Yourself Or Someone Like You," was stolen. He said it took him over a year to find a suitable replacement, which wound up being the Taylor acoustic.

Anyone with tips or information regarding its whereabouts is urged to call (212) 707-3200 and leave a detailed voice mail. Gaynor is offering a reward for information leading to the return of his guitar, no questions asked.
