Master P To Take Sabbatical From Basketball To Direct Film

This Sunday's basketball game between the CBA's the Rockford Lightning and the Fort Wayne Fury will be Master P's last day for the Fury, at least for the next few weeks.

The rookie point guard will abandon his pursuit of hoops to head for Hollywood in order to start directing a new feature for his No Limit Film company, entitled "No Tomorrow." Master P plans on being on the set for about a month, after which he will return to Indiana to finish out the season with the Fury.

So far this season, Master P has played 52 minutes across 7 games for the 3-5 Fury, while going 3-for-9 from the field, 1-for-4 from the free throw line. P has also logged 9 rebounds, 3 assists -- and 22 personal fouls.

Tonight the Fury have a home game against the Connecticut Pride.
