Master P To Release New LP After Heading To B-Ball Camp

Just as fans thought Master P would shift his attention from music to basketball, the rap magnate has announced plans to release a new album just weeks after he reports to the Toronto Raptors' training camp.

According to a publicist for P's No Limit Records, Master P will issue a new 21-song set entitled "Only God Can Judge Me" on October 26.

The rapper originally intended to release a greatest hits compilation to tide fans over while he pursues his NBA hoop dreams, but after signing with the Raptors earlier this month, he decided to release the new tracks instead (see "Master P Invited To Toronto Raptors' Training Camp").

Additional details about "Only God Can Judge Me" remain forthcoming, but Jermaine Dupri, Beats By the Pound, and Rico Lumpkins have all produced songs for P's new album.

The Toronto Raptors' training camp starts on October 5, and all players and personnel are expected to report by October 4.
