Marilyn Manson Crew Member Suffers Fatal Fall

May 12 [7:55 EST] -- Tragedy struck before Marilyn Manson's Friday night show in Washington, D.C. as a member of the band's lighting crew reportedly fell to his death.

"The Washington Post" reports that the body of 30-year-old Sean McGrann was discovered after the lighting technician suffered a fatal 90-foot fall after preparing for the band's performance at the D.C. Armory.

Manson reportedly released a statement saying the band was "saddened by the tragic and untimely death" of McGrann, who he went on to call "a gifted professional."

McGrann reportedly worked for Upstaging Inc., a lighting and staging company that had been working on the Manson tour.
