Madonna To Hollywood Hobnob At Havana Film Festival

With Madonna in the midst of lining up several film projects for her both to star in and produce, the singer-actress is now said to be heading for a few holidays in the sun with an appearance at this year's Havana Film Festival in Cuba.

The festival, which is commemorating its 20th year, will screen some 50 films for international competition before concluding on December 11, and "Variety" reports that Madonna will pay a visit to the Cuban film festival before it winds down.

Madonna is currently attached to a pair of films, "The Next Big Thing" and a screen version of the Broadway musical "Chicago," although this trip to one of the last bastions of communism may have more to do with raising industry support for her recently-announced plans to produce a film based on Pras' new album, "Ghetto Superstar."
