No Limit Rapper Faces Murder Charges

After being indicted for second degree murder, No Limit rapper Mac will be arraigned on Wednesday in a Louisiana courtroom, at which time a trial date will be set.

The rapper, real name McKinley Phipps, was arrested on February 21 for allegedly killing a man at a Slidell, Louisiana nightclub. He was indicted last week and is currently being held without bail. An application for bond will be taken under advisement on April 11.

If convicted, Mac faces a mandatory life sentence.

Mac's debut album, "Shell Shocked," arrived in 1998, and he followed that up with "World War III" last September.
