NYC Police Arrest Suspect For Murder Of Lost Boyz's Freaky Tah

Police in New York City have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of the Lost Boyz's Freaky Tah.

Authorities are currently holding 22-year-old Rasheem Fletcher in custody and have charged him with second-degree murder. According to police reports, Fletcher and Tah had been embroiled in a long-running feud which allegedly led to the slaying.

Tah, who was born Raymond Rogers, was shot in the back of the head execution-style as he left a party in his Queens, New York neighborhood during the early hours of March 20 (see "Lost Boyz's Freaky Tah Shot And Killed In Queens").

This could turn out to be one of the few recent murder cases involving a prominent rapper to actually be solved. Police in Los Angeles have yet to arrest anyone for the murder of Notorious B.I.G., while Orlando Anderson, the only known suspect cited by Las Vegas authorities in the death of Tupac Shakur, was gunned down himself last May (see "Tupac Murder Suspect Orlando Anderson Dead").
