While successfully dipping into music, Jennifer Lopez has managed to keep her film career on track.
"Variety" reports that Lopez has been offered $5 million to play the lead in "Angel Eyes," a drama that would see Lopez play a police officer coping with her abusive childhood. The Hollywood trade paper reports that Lopez is expected to accept the offer.
As we reported last week, Lopez is also set to star in the sci-fi flick "The Cell," and is negotiating to take the lead role in "The Wedding Planner" (see [article id="1431407"]"Jennifer Lopez Eyes New Film Roles"[/article]). She is also reportedly in talks to appear with Eddie Murphy in the action/comedy project "Pluto Nash."
Her stab at music isn't going all that badly either. Her first single, "If You Had My Love," remains the number one song in the country according to "Billboard," and her debut album, "One The 6," remains in the top 20 after debuting at number eight three weeks ago.
