Lo Fidelity Allstars Prepare Mix Album, New Album; Line Up Tour Dates

Almost a year to the day since the Lo Fidelity Allstars released their debut album, "How to Operate With A Blown Mind," the five man British group will be returning to record stores with a new "mix" album.

"On The Floor At The Boutique" will be in stores on January 18, one day short of a year following the release of their debut. The mix album features Lo Fidelity DJ Phil Ward, a.k.a. "The Albino Priest," showing off his turntable skills, mixing hip-hop classics like Boogie Down Productions' "You Must Learn," with R&B hits like Blackstreet's "No Diggity" with lesser known fare such as Armand Van Helden's "Funk Phenomenon" and Feelgood Factor's "The Whole Church Should Get Drunk."

Meanwhile, the group is currently working on their next full-length album, due out sometime next year. The Lo Fidelity Allstars plan to try out some of the songs for that album on stage during their upcoming tour dates. The group's upcoming dates include radio shows, concerts opening

for Moby, and their own headlining gigs. Additionally, Phil Ward will be opening a pair of New York gigs for Fatboy Slim.
