Lit Fires Up Dates For First Headlining Tour

After hitting the road with the likes of Silverchair, The Offspring, and Garbage, the Orange Country rockers of Lit have announced the initial leg of their first-ever headlining tour, slated to begin next week in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The timing of the tour couldn't be better for Lit, as the group's newest single, "Miserable," has already cracked the top ten of the "R&R" Alternative chart. The video, which features Pamela Lee Anderson as her "V.I.P." character Vallery Irons, debuted on "TRL" earlier this month.

The band will repay the favor by appearing in an episode of "V.I.P." titled "Hard Val's Night," which is scheduled to air the weekend of February 26-27 (see "Lit Joins Pamela Anderson Lee For 'V.I.P.'").

Opening for Lit on the first leg of the upcoming tour will be 22 Jacks, a group currently serving as the warm-up act for Smash Mouth and Luscious Jackson's joint outing (see "Smash

Mouth Preps New Video, Plans Tour With Luscious Jackson").
