"Performance," a trade magazine for the touring industry, reports that the event will also include Mustard Plug, Blue Meanies, MU330, Five Iron Frenzy, Kemuri and The Bruce Lee Band as well as one local artist in each market.
The tour's agent tells "Performance" that the original plan was to start the shows on the West Coast in April and work their way around the country counter-clockwise, but the response has been strong enough to possibly warrant an earlier launch. The venues being booked are in the 1,000 to 2,000-seat range.
Several anti-racism organizations are being invited to join the tour and set up info centers at each stop. At least part of the proceeds will be donated to that cause. The road show is the brainchild of former Skankin' Pickle member Mike Park.
