Britney Spears To Announce Tour With LFO

Britney Spears will be calling in to MTV’s “Total Request Live” next Friday, December 17 to talk about her upcoming tour with LFO, tentatively scheduled to begin on March 8 in Pensacola, Florida.

Spears, who has emerged as one of the breakthrough stars of 1999, celebrated her 18th birthday earlier this month — and just a few weeks after her debut, “… Baby One More Time,” received a prestigious Diamond Award from the RIAA for certified sales of ten million.

The teen singer from Kentwood, Louisiana will release a new single, “From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart,” to radio on December 15, and a video for the song is expected to premiere on MTV a few days prior to Christmas.

In the meantime, LFO is apparently overjoyed to have landed the opening spot on Spears’ upcoming tour, as the “Summer Girls” group has jumped the gun and already released a list of tentative dates for the month-long run.
