Len Thrived On Spontaneity During "Sunshine" Shoot

Canadian fun-funk group Len has scored a summer hit with the jaunty "Steal My Sunshine," the leadoff track from its third album, "You Can't Stop the Bum Rush," which features cameos by such unlikely allies as Kurtis Blow, Biz Markie, and Poison's C.C. DeVille.

"Steal My Sunshine" itself samples the 1976 disco hit "More, More, More" by former porn star Andrea True, and its video was shot during spring break in Daytona, Florida, this past spring. According to songsmith Mark Costanzo, a.k.a. The Original Burger Pimp, a good time was had by all.

"Everyone came in from different places," The Burger Pimp told MTV News. "We brought all our friends in... and we shot it for a week."

"We paid them to be there, too," added his sister and co-vocalist Sharon Costanzo.

"We had to pay their friends,"

DJ Drunkness Monster chimed in.

"It was an amazing video to shoot," said The Burger Pimp. "And it was like there was no storyboards, there was nothing. They would just carry the cameras around and shoot us." [RealVideo]
