December 15 [15:00 EDT] -- Singer Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page, the former leaders of Led Zeppelin, are heading out on a 50 city tour in the US and Canada next year with corporate sponsorship from Warner/Avalon, a marketing agency.

Led Zeppelin, [article id="1431140"]as we recently reported[/article], hit number two in record album sales with 63.8 million copies globally, surpassing Garth Brooks and listing second only to The Beatles.

Page and Plant are also at work on a new studio album due out sometime next year.
