Kiss Plans "Last Kiss" Pay-Per-View Concert

As their farewell tour marches toward its close next month, the over-the-top arena rockers of Kiss are planning to give their fans one last chance to catch them with a pay-per-view concert.

Gene, Paul, Peter, and Ace have lined up "The Last Kiss," a 90-minute pay-per-view concert special that will premiere on October 7. The show will capture one of the last dates on the band's current farewell tour, which so far ranks as the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time.

Kiss rolled the cameras on its recent homecoming show at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and captured a set that included the band's signature anthems "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Shout It Out Loud," "Love Gun," and "Beth," all of which will turn up in the pay-per-view show.

After pulling its original lineup back together in 1996 for a reunion tour that yielded a return to the studio as well, Kiss announced in February that this tour would be its last. The band

has been saying goodbye in U.S. venues since March and has also continued the keep the gears churning on the cottage industry it has spawned, cranking out action figures, a video game, an online auction, and a book deal in addition to the upcoming pay-per-view concert.
