Kid Rock To Play "Letterman," Plans European And US Tours

To paraphrase Kid Rock himself, his fourth album, "Devil Without A Cause," has taken him from "straight outta the trailer" to much glitzier settings.

Rock will be hitting The Ed Sullivan Theater on October 8 to perform "Cowboy" on "The Late Show With David Letterman." The following night, he will be one of the presenters at the MTV Video Music Awards, which will be televised live on September 9 at 8 p.m. (ET) from the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City (see "Nine Inch Nails, Lauryn Hill, DMX, Kid Rock, Jay-Z Lined Up For VMAs"). Rock himself is nominated for two VMA's for "Bawitdaba" (Best Rock Video and Best New Artist In A Video).

If seeing Kid Rock on TV just won't do, you can catch him in person at the Gravity Games Concert in Providence, Rhode Island, on the day after the VMA's, September 10 (see "Foo Fighters, Busta Rhymes, Kid Rock On Board For 'Gravity

Games' Gig"). Later this month, he will go to Europe for three weeks of dates, before returning to these shores on October 20 for his own headlining tour (with Powerman 5000 opening). Here's where you'll be able to catch him:
