Kid Rock, Methods Of Mayhem Added To Metallica-Ted Nugent Y2K Show

Metallica and Ted Nugent aren't the only ones who'll be rocking the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit on New Year's Eve, as Kid Rock and the Methods Of Mayhem have just been added to the bill.

A representative for the Pontiac Silverdome confirmed to MTV News that Kid Rock and Methods Of Mayhem, the new band featuring former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, had signed on for the show earlier this week.

According to the spokesperson, Methods Of Mayhem will open the show, followed by Kid Rock and Nugent. Metallica will then ring in the year 2000 with a headlining set.

Tickets for the New Year's Eve show, which was originally announced back in March, go on sale at 10 a.m. and will be available at the Silverdome box office as well as via Ticketmaster (see "Metallica, Ted Nugent Plan Special Y2K Show").
