R. Kelly Gets Mixed Legal News In Court Date

R. Kelly got some mixed legal news in a Chicago courtroom on Thursday.

The singer was there to answer three charges from an encounter with the police a month ago. A charge of disorderly conduct, and a charge of driving without a license, were both dropped, but Kelly still has to come back to court on June 15 on another charge, for violating a noise ordinance, by blasting music from his car.

As we reported earlier this month (see "R. Kelly Busted For Blasting Car Stereo"), Kelly was arrested in his hometown of Chicago after police say he refused to turn down the stereo in his sports utility vehicle.
