TLC's "Left Eye" Teams With Mel C., Donell Jones

While maintaining a role as the in-house rhymer for the biggest selling female group of all time, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes has been spreading her wings a bit lately.

Lopes lends her talents to "Never Be The Same Again," a track on the upcoming solo debut from Melanie Chisholm, the artist often known as Sporty Spice.

She can also be heard on "U Know What's Up," the new single from Lopes' labelmate Donell Jones. Eddie F. (formerly of Heavy D and the Boyz) presided over the track as producer, and director David Nelson (R. Kelly, 2Pac, Naughty by Nature) lorded over a recent video shoot for the song in Los Angeles. That clip features appearances by supermodel Beverly Peele, Usher, Big Boi of Outkast, and rap newcomers Youngbloodz.

On a related note, Donell, whose album "Where I Wanna Be" is due in stores October 12, will also be featured in the December/January issue of "Teen People" in a fashion layout with TLC's Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins.
