Freedy Johnston Goes Home For Tornado Benefit

April 17 [14:00 EST] -- Even though Freedy Johnston's new album is called "Never Home," he'll return to his tiny hometown of Kinsley, Kansas on Sunday to play the first rock concert in the town's history.

All proceeds from the show, slated for Kinsley High School, benefit the effort to rebuild the Edward's County Hospital, which was badly damaged by a recent tornado.

Freedy's appearance will mark the first performance by a rock artist in the town, which boasts a population of 2,500.
